FEES

The current fee for a 46-60 minute consultation with a registered psychologist, as recommended by the Australian Psychological Society (APS), is $318. 

To ensure therapy is as accessible and affordable as possible, my fee for a 50-minute consultation is $215. Please note that Medicare does not cover the cost of cancellations. 

I charge based on my hourly rate for any non-direct services, such as report writing. I do not provide reports for Work Cover or legal purposes. 

Assessment prices are packaged as follows: 

• Standalone cognitive or academic testing: $1,250 (Cognitive), $1,350 (Academic), or $1,850 (Both).

25% deposit required. Payments plans are available, though payment must be made in full before a final report can be released. 

You can obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, which allows you to receive a Medicare rebate of $98.97 per session for up to 10 sessions each calendar year. Unfortunately, I am not a bulk-billing practice. 

Under an Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP), you are entitled to a maximum of 40 psychological sessions within a 12-month period, which can be rebated through Medicare. EDPs can be initiated through a referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician. EDPs are reviewed every 10 sessions by your GP and after 20 sessions by both a GP and a psychiatrist or paediatrician. 

Some private health insurance providers may cover the cost of psychological treatment, depending on your level of cover. It's important to discuss this with your provider to understand your options. While I am unable to process private health rebates directly, I can provide an invoice for you to claim with your private health insurance provider. 

Both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants can request psychological treatment as part of their NDIS psychology services if included in their plan. The current price limit for a 50-minute session is $232.99.
